Agreed and it's fairly sloppy, I have taken a rubber type tape that's fairly thick and placed it over the stopper they have provided. It's a quick fix but one that works until they modify it. I really think plastic arms arm cheap and flimsy. For the price I am sure a heavier metal could be used with a better adjusting mechanism.

I have stuck a round foam disk to the locking arm. The small amount of compression that allows permits the arm to lock in a tight position.

OR a compressible pad on the bar. This would give a snugger grip I think. Struggling to get a decent fit on my Takamine.
