Thanks, RJ, for your suggestion! Are you looking to use Coach for live audio input (e.g., streaming, effects, or monitoring on headphones) or just for recording?

Coach introduces a small delay, making real-time use challenging. You can test it in wired mode by connecting Coach’s headphone jack to a Y splitter’s mic input (available on Amazon) and then to your computer’s TRRS input. Even in this setup, a slight delay exists, which would increase with Bluetooth.

Let me know your thoughts or if you have other ideas!

I was thinking more about recording, and also linking it with other tutorial apps such as Yousician. I suspect many people use a combination of applications through their musical journey, and many others would find the added interoperability to be of benefit, increasing the utility of Roadie Coach. Yousician calibrates its software to take account of the small delay introduced by Bluetooth mics. Your device is so super handy for recording guitar and vocals in one unit - opening it up to an even wider audience would be awesome.

Thanks, RJ! I fully agree about increasing the device’s utility. Unfortunately, the Bluetooth mic protocol only supports a single channel, so streaming two mics isn’t feasible. For the Roadie Coach app, we developed a custom protocol to stream both mics simultaneously. We’re open to integrating this into other apps if there’s interest. For now, you can connect Coach via a wired setup, go to the soundcheck screen, and use the signal from the line OUT. Let me know if you’d like more details! Thanks again for the great suggestion.
